Keller in Canada announces recent hires in management
Keller announces two additions to the company’s British Columbia office – Brian Wilson as Vice President and Jim Coull as General Manager.
As vice president of the Pacific Region, Wilson will focus on cutter soil mixing, jet grouting, and secant piles to fix slope stability issues and temporary support of deep excavations, as well as advancing Keller’s ground improvement/densification works.
Wilson has nearly 40 years of experience in engineering with a B.Sc. in civil engineering from Queen’s University Belfast and graduate studies at the University of Cape Town. Before joining Keller, he was vice president for Pacific Ground Engineering, and with Golder Construction as principal engineer and regional leader for western Canada. He is also a Professional Engineer in British Columbia and a Chartered Engineer in the United Kingdom. Wilson is also a member of the Deep Soil Mixing, Slurry Wall, and Ground Improvement Technical Committees of Deep Foundations Institute (DFI).
As general manager, Coull will assume overall operational responsibility for the region excluding ‘special projects,’ mentor the growing group of young project managers and engineers in our BC office, and provide key experience in contracts and change management.
Coull has over 35 years in traditional civil engineering, design and build, target cost and joint venture projects, and management. He has a B.Sc. in civil engineering from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh and is a member of Deep Foundations Institute (DFI). Prior, Coull was general manager for Pacific Ground Engineering and regional manager for western Canada for Golder Construction.
